Job Title: Feed Store Office Manager

We are looking for a Feed Store Office Manager to join the feed department Gordon, Nebraska.  

This position is full-time and comes with Legacy Coop's full-time benefits package including retirement, 401K, holiday, vacation and sick time, as well as competitive pay.  This position is on-site/in person so the ideal candidate lives in or around Gordon, Nebraska. 

Job Summary:

The Feed Store Office Manager oversees the administrative operations of the Legacy Coop feed store in Gordon, Nebraska, ensuring smooth day-to-day office functions including inventory records, customer billing, and vendor coordination. This role supports the Feed Manager, feed department, and feed team by maintaining accurate records, managing customer accounts, and handling internal communications with efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily office operations including answering phones, greeting customers, and processing transactions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and sales records.
  • Prepare customer invoices, manage customer accounts, and follow up on payments.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on order tracking, billing, and delivery schedules.
  • Assist with scheduling deliveries and organizing logistics with the warehouse teams.
  • Provide administrative support to the Feed Manager and assist with special projects as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; additional education in business, accounting, or agriculture is a plus.
  • 2+ years of office management or administrative experience, preferably in a retail or agricultural setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of inventory and billing systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to seasonal demands.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
