A Brief Overview
Responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and quality assurance programs to ensure ambulatory adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality control systems and regulatory strategies to maintain high standards of performance, mitigate risks, and support operational excellence.
Essential Functions
- Strategic Design and Implementation: Lead the creation, enhancement, and standardization of ambulatory care programs, systems, and processes, aligning them with departmental and organizational goals to ensure cohesive and effective service delivery.
- Clinical Leadership and Project Execution: Provide expert clinical guidance in identifying, developing, and executing initiatives aimed at improving quality, patient safety, and service excellence across ambulatory settings.
- Performance Improvement: Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Integration of Evidence-Based Practices: Incorporate clinical standards, educational initiatives, research findings, and benchmarking data to inform the development and implementation of quality clinical systems and projects.
- Data Management: Oversee program registries and data collection efforts to monitor and improve outcomes.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on program performance metrics to stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance and Safety Assurance: Ensure adherence to quality assurance protocols, safety practices, and all relevant regulatory and legal requirements to maintain high standards of care. Ensure that program processes align with applicable accreditation standards, policies, and strategic plans.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing Required
Experience Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in nursing, preferably in pediatrics Required and
- Ambulatory nursing experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the state of Nebraska Required and
- CITI certified training completion within 120 Days Required
- BLS - Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association Required
