Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a full-time, benefit eligible, Faculty member who is motivated to support and help develop Pediatric didactic and clinical curriculum while providing dental students with a broad spectrum of experiences in the treatment of pediatric patients.

Full time faculty positions work with a team of dedicated faculty and leaders who are building on a rich legacy of excellence in dental education and expanding our capacity as a national resource for the dental profession.

Schedule is a 12-month, 8 to 10 half days per week. Schedule flexibility allows for 2 half days per week of extramural or intramural practice for maintenance of clinical skills and salary supplementation.

Position responsibilities include teaching within the pre-clinical and clinical settings, lectures within the pediatric didactic curriculum and opportunities for curricular redesign and development, management within the department, and administrative development.

Qualifications

Must have a DDS or DMD degree from an ADA accredited Dental School
Successful completion of Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or INBDE
Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from an ADA Accredited Programâ?
Individuals with an equivalent degree from an international program, along with the successful completion of an ADA accredited specialty program and Part I and Part II of the National Board Dental Examination or INBDE are also eligible.
Individuals with documented experiential qualifications in Pediatric dentistry may also be considered.
Candidates must acquire licensure in the state of Nebraska and credentialing from applicable third-party payer systems.
DDS/DMD or equivalency with successful completion of an ADA accredited pediatric specialty program and meet credentialing requirements including licensure in a category for which they are eligible as outlined in the Nebraska Practice Act.
